Whoa it's been a while!

Sorry about the lack of posts guys. I figured there would be others making posts but....whatev.
I'm here doin the thang.

Since the Octoboer post I have been to and returned from the beautiful state of California. I decided I'm moving out there and will probably end up in school since I'll be 25 this year. Supposedly it gets a lot cheaper when you hit 25. YAY!

Huntsville chapter will be working soon. zines, swap meets, art parties oh my!
Huntsville will also be recruiting soon.


Nashville should get ready for Drop-a-Dollar day. let me know when you guys are free and have a buck or two to drop (literally) in front of some hungry folks. We'll take a stroll around town lookin for long faces. If you don't want to drop money, drop snacks instead!

The other day I was wondering how I would get on a TV show like the Real World or something, and as it turns out Bunim-Murray is actually recruiting for the next season of Real World right now. we all know what the show is about. Strangers! my favorite kind of people! I WANT TO BE ON THE SHOW! I know those people would love me and I'm pretty sure I would make it on. Optimism up in America's face! So what I'm sayin is someone should shoot my audition video for the Real World! That's what I'm sayin!

Also, I like rum again. Just not the cheaper stuff


Ummmmm, questions?

Definition

I've slacked on this.

Once this (the blog) gets rolling it will get better.
This is an optimistic statement.

Since I want to save the world by phasing out the use of paper
I decided to look up a definition for "optimism" online.
Dictionary dot com says:

1.	a disposition or tendency to look on the more favorable side of events or conditions and to expect the most favorable outcome.

2.	the belief that good ultimately predominates over evil in the world.

3.	the belief that goodness pervades reality.

4.	the doctrine that the existing world is the best of all possible worlds.

Also, it says "optimism" is a noun, with "confidence", "hopefulness", and "cheerfulness" as synonyms.

Things suddenly occur to me.
Questions like
Why are there no words that are defined exclusively by action or example?
Video dictionary. We could make one.

What would it be called?
What would we define?

This may be something to think about.


Something else I'd like to get some feedback on.
Drop-a-Dollar Day:
I don't know if there is any such day already or if anyone has ever thought to do this with a group.
But either way, I'd like to stage a holiday. The name says it all.

When I return from the west I'd like to schedule a day with everyone available and willing to go out on bikes or on foot or whatever way we decide we want to get around and drop a friggin dollar. Or more. Whatev.

I'd like for this to turn into one of those internet holidays like "No Pants Day" or "Talk Like a Pirate Day". You know what I'm talkin about?

Anyway, let me know what you think.


On a different topic
I have an update.

Huntsville Pillowfight:
I have no idea what's going on with it, and apparently there is already one scheduled for March 22 of next year. I'm leaving for California on the 6th and I haven't received any of the information I was hoping for to make fliers. Sooooo, I reckon if it happens it happens, but for the most part I'll uninvolved with it's organization since I'll be thousands of miles away. Sorry for any disappointment I may have caused you. There will be more pillowfights.
